The Blindspots

'The Blindspots' is a collection of 14 short stories selected from over 150 short stories penned by the author over the last 30 years. These stories, inspired by real people and situations across the world, represent different cultures, ethos, and circumstances. The author's professional assignments gave him ample opportunities to travel around the world, particularly to Switzerland, the Maldives, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, the United States, and Jamaica, in addition to his extensive experience living in different parts of his home country, India. This collection is a reflection of his feelings as a storyteller when he visited these countries. He confesses not to have lived enough in all these countries to write about the cultural practices and ethos of the local people, but whatever he could carry with him as a writer when he looked at faces, perceived emotions, explored locations, and visualized situations, he penned down to share with others.
