The Friday Bookshop

by Sawako Natori

Translated from Japanese by Yui Kajita. Fumiya, a student who rarely reads, finds a small bookshop inside a rural train station north of Tokyo while looking for a book for his ill father. Run by three old school friends, with a cafe whose dishes come from the books they recommend, the shop teaches him how books bring people together.
